REMINDERS
LAW ENFORCEMENT CHECKS
An authorized state-issued accessible parking placard or license plate is required to park in designated accessible parking areas, and by state law the person who the pass is issued to must be present in the vehicle. Law Enforcement Officers will be performing checks to ensure that person is present in the vehicle.
CARS AND LIGHT TRUCKS ONLY
Accessible (disabled permit or license) parking areas are designated for car and light truck (e.g. pickup trucks) vehicles. Oversize vehicles will be directed to alternate areas.
ARRIVE EARLY
All of the Speedway’s event parking areas are free of charge. The size of the race event and traffic patterns may impact your parking location. General parking in the Speedway’s accessible lots fill quickly so guests with disabilities are advised to arrive early on race days.
DISABILITY ASSISTANCE CARTS
A fleet of golf carts are utilized during major event days at Daytona International Speedway to assist disabled guests, free of charge, to certain destinations throughout the property. Once parked, guests may visit one of the ADA Cart Shuttle Stop locations (identified with an “S” on the event’s “Transportation Map” in the Parking Guide that comes with each guest’s ticket package or on the “Facility Map” in the Insider’s Guide and Ultimate Event Guide).
Assistance Golf Carts operate on a dedicated route across the Speedway’s Frontstretch, similar to a city bus route, identified with the red line on the “Transportation Map”, only making stops at the “S” identified locations.
FOR ASSISTANCE INTO THE INFIELD:
A dedicated wheelchair accessible golf cart is positioned at the “S” location outside the Turn 4 Tunnel for wheelchair transport service through the tunnel. Guests will need to transfer to the Infield Shuttle Bus for assistance further into the infield. Please note our carts do not venture further than the Infield Shuttle Bus stop, indicated by an “IS” inside the Turn 4 Tunnel.
Guests also have the option to enter the infield via the Lot 1 Tram Plaza. Wheelchair accessible trams and ADA mini vans operate from the Lot 1 Tram Plaza to the UNOH Fanzone or the Lot 6 Tram Plaza.
During peak times, guests should expect delays and use of these carts is restricted to the disabled guest and one companion so that we may assist everyone. For the safety of all guests, disability assistance carts may not be operational immediately following the conclusion of the event due to a high volume of pedestrian traffic; DIS staff will determine when conditions are safe to resume operations.
